The Gurgle Splosher

A playful, interactive sound-sculpture, this model of the water cycle combines elements of Victorian pumping stations with modern domestic guttering systems, made with the help of young people from local schools in Mytholmroyd.
The Gurgle Splosher will make its debut as a work in progress at Hebden Bridge Arts Festival on Sunday 2nd July before popping up along the valley over the summer and at The Piece Hall on the 30th September and 1st October. The culmination of the project will be a special festival day in Mytholmroyd on Saturday 14th October, hosted by Mytholmroyd Arts.
